The Aprons are up!
All of the altered aprons are on display at Mystic Paper! Many of the aprons are available via a silent auction, but I decided to withhold mine since it has pictures of my kids on it. If you would like to see them, I’m trying to figure out a time to go, so maybe we could go together! They are on display till they end of the month!
A major project over the last few weeks and months has been our bedroom. About 4 1/2 years ago I did blue venetian plaster in our room. Neither Matt nor I ever liked it, plus I made the mistake of painting the closet doors and trim to match, so that always made me hesitate to re-paint- I knew it would be a huge job! I’ve had a hard time finding pictures of the old room to show you, but here are the ‘after’ pictures…
This is the painted-on bronze headboard along with the tan paint. Notice the closet doors and trim are clean and white! Both lamps are intact here, I have since smashed the lampshade of the one on the left on my face. On accident! I’m not crazy! Hahahahahaha!

Ahhh… it is such a relief to have a room that is pretty and pleasant to be in. Next up: The play room! And a new lampshade!
